Top Judge David Moore

David has an excellent Linked In feed I recommend to everyone, which he calls "Ad Agencies Advertising Themselves." Awesome. Search for David on Linked In, then scroll down to "Activity." You will really enjoy the work he has pulled together.

When David isn't entertaining us with his collection of vintage ads, he serves as copywriter and creative director for Objective Strategic Marketing. He also serves as one of AABSA's top judges, scoring 11 out of 11.

Since the logo contest and poster contest remain open, the rest of our judges have an opportunity to vote in these 2 contests, as well as the 7 others. No cheating by asking David for the answers! Good luck!

Midwest Regional Leader Board

David is on top of the Leader Board, sharing that spot with just 1 other judge.

As the results to future contests are rolled out, the competition will get more challenging. But every judge is guaranteed at least 1 point just for participation.

That means 9 points minimum if you vote in all 9 contests and get all 9 wrong (almost impossible – you'd have to try!)

Results from the Billboard Contest

Remarkably, many more of our AABSA judges open and read this newsletter than judge in the Billboard contest. Strange.

My thought was that billboards would have been a faster, easier vote simply because the format is meant to be understood and consumed so quickly.

Be that as it may, I will be adding the Billboard results to our standings shortly. These new judge numbers are sure to mix up our leader boards substantially. But especially if you haven't voted in this category yet. A "no-vote" equals a big goose egg.
