Large, national or multi-national advertising agencies have only so much room in their org chart for all the creative talent they attract.
Over time, some choose to start their own shops in search of less bureaucracy, less overhead, or more freedom.
While the mega agencies have dedicated employees to handle contest entries, AABSA champions the small to midsize creative agencies – the ones who jumped ship or simply wanted to run their own shop.
